Of anything that I’ve said here, Risto sucking is way more of a fact than an opinion.
Saying he doesn’t suck at this point is like the earth is flat - sbroads24
Yes, but did you know he is a viking? Because apparently that means a lot.

Chychrun is a legit top pair D man.
Eichel is not winning anything in Arizona.
Doesn't matter, really. They don't seem like a good fit for what the Sabres supposedly want in return. I was just throwing a trade out there. - Powerslave
Arizona is a less than ideal fit, but they're pushing hard to get Eichel. They want him badly. |

Not necessarily
Depends where we move him - jdfitz77
Out west is preferable so we never have to see him. From there: elite center prospect, 2021 1st round pick, another blue chip prospect
Zegras, Drysdale, 1st
Byfield, Turcotte, 1st
Petterson, Höglander, 1st

We need to build the right way cant be rusing things the next 2 drafts and Prospect wise we get for Jack could make us a cup Contender in the next 5 years
If we're just looking for guys That you can just plug into the top 6 we will be that Roy and vanek core team - gerbe75pts
You don't know that, those guys could be a perfect fit for what we already have. All those guys could be here for a years and you just keep adding cause of your pipeline. Jesus I would take a bubble team next year if possible and then you keep adding from there. We can build for the know and the future at the same time. |

I'd take Kaliyev over Turcotte, I dont see Turcotte amounting to much in the NHL, but that is just me.

Makes sense
A top10 pick (+++ obviously) would be tough to pass up
But i think I’d rather have extra chances to win the lotto in 2022 & 2023
Especially if we’re trading Jack to a place (like say Anaheim) that could still be a lotto team - jdfitz77
Any trade for jack has to include 2 first rounders |

There's risk with any prospect/draft pick. That's why the Sabres need 3
The Vancouver one is probably way too much. Pettersson is already good |

Add the Wild (Boldy, 1st plus), Vegas (Krebs plus), and Calgary (Zary, 1st plus).
Under the radar: NJ (Jack Hughes plus). |

A trade "minus Chychrun" is a non starter for me. He HAS to be in the deal, if I'm the GM. |

So just throw sh!t against the wall to see if anything sticks?
Great plan.... not - jdfitz77
Funny thing is, I’d be willing to bet Borgen would probably handle those minutes better than Risto has.
Dahlin-_____
_____-Joker
Samuelsson/Bryson-Borgen
Get Dahlin and Joker veteran d-men that can play well defensively.

If you took cap back to even it out, it's much closer then you think, especially with Pettersson up for a new deal this offseason. |

Carolina could be a sneaky candidate if they don’t bring back Hamilton.
