Risto has played on the worst NHL team since he became a Sabre.
His franchise purposely lost.
Purposely let the other team score .
His +/- is not justified.
His offensive statistics are very good for a defenseman.
He's admittedly not good defensively at times and makes some really bad decisions.
He is top 10 in hits ☝️ |

Carolina could be a sneaky candidate if they don’t bring back Hamilton.
Trocheck, Jarvis + - Pegullaville
Buffalo would ask for Aho, for starters. |

If you took cap back to even it out, it's much closer then you think, especially with Pettersson up for a new deal this offseason. - kingcong39
They have a poopload of M-NTCs.

Sabres associate GM Jason Karmanos said when he was with the Penguins they would have drafted JJ Peterka in the first round.
Peterka was drafted 34th overall by Buffalo. He’ll play for Germany at the world championships.

As you would expect, Jason Karmanos will be directly involved in the search for the Sabres’ next coach.
Karmanos said Don Granato put himself in a strong position with his work in the interim role.

Hall has drawn 4 PP’s in two games.
Hasn’t been great, but not nearly as bad either |

Risto has been no where close to a solution.
He’s been gas on an open flame.
Maybe the gasoline didn’t result in the flame, but it sure makes the flame a lot larger don’t ya think ? |

He gonna get a 1st and an nhl established player
He get fixed by next coach , only reason for above return in a trade.

I think y'all focus waaaaayyyy to much on him as a whipping boy. And in doing so y'all dismiss the rotten egg smelling gas emanating from the Sabre offices. |

Flaccoville- viking55 has been rough around the edges defensively and makes enormous blunders in his own zone. He pull's himself out of position to make big hit's.
Check out the nhl playoffs, he would be a force.
He would hit and produce points offensively
Definitely a big part of 8 losing season's as well

A team that is need of someone to run their PP from the top will find Risto valuable.
The Sabres have Dahlin now so one of the few things Risto does well is now redundant.
I see Risto as the Okposo of the defence.
Neither of us are changing each other’s minds so this is my final statement |
