Larry Lazar gets launched into low-Earth orbit

Hell of a hit. Lazar was a good 3 feet from the bench too. |

Clean hit by Wilson and Larry Lazar can take it. LL will probably get him back, too - jcragcrumple
I liked him in a larry role in buffalo. Perfect fit for him in Boston |

Eriksson. - kingcong39
The team that could really use Jack is Nashville. However, they don't have the top-end young players to move out. |

Nor the salary cap unless we take their damaged goods in Ryjo, Duchene, or possibly both |

Funny thing is, I’d be willing to bet Borgen would probably handle those minutes better than Risto has.
Dahlin-_____
_____-Joker
Samuelsson/Bryson-Borgen
Get Dahlin and Joker veteran d-men that can play well defensively. - Pegullaville
Maybe that’s true going forward (big “maybe”)
But it’s definitely not true for the past 8years
And blaming us losing on Risto is nuts
It’s management’s fault they couldn’t build a decent team- NOT Risto’s dude
Going forward.... i pretty much agree with you
Still like McCabe though- and I’d try to keep him |

Maybe add their choice or Olofsson/Tage/Asplund - jcragcrumple
Sam (maybe + ?) for Matty T
Olofsson + Quinn for Brady T +

Am I missing something? Why would Ottawa trade BT in the first place? Are they looking to deal him? Because if they are, they can do WAY better than that. |

Carolina could be a sneaky candidate if they don’t bring back Hamilton.
Trocheck, Jarvis + - Pegullaville
Trocheck is about to be 28
No thanks
Too old to fit our new rebuild timeline |

Aho.
Still gives them Eichel and Vinnie T as 1C and 2C. |

Is there a reason we can't do a retool, why does it have to be a rebuild. |

Vegas already views Eichel as the missing piece.
Things will really get interesting if Vegas loses again the playoffs due to having trouble putting the puck in the net. |

Man if we could get Aho that would be beautiful.
Tough to think Carolina would do that though |

Buffalo would ask for Aho, one of the Carolina defensemen, plus. |

Sabres associate GM Jason Karmanos said when he was with the Penguins they would have drafted JJ Peterka in the first round.
Peterka was drafted 34th overall by Buffalo. He’ll play for Germany at the world championships.
Lance - Powerslave
Sure.... but the Pens would’ve picked pretty late in the 1st, right?
Saying he’d have picked him 25th really isn’t a huge deal
Looking forward to Peterka being here though |

Makes more sense for us
They’d probably say “no” to Aho
And that’s when we should hang up |

Idk how good you think Brady T is....
but take a look at his stats & tell me what you think he’s worth
I think Olofsson (who’s arguably a better scorer) and a top10 pick (who Ottawa reportedly liked A LOT) is actually an overly for a guy who barely scores over 20goals each year |

Carolina would be getting 2 more years of control with Eichel, and Eichel is the better player. |

The Penguins traded their first-round pick to Toronto. Would they have selected Peterka as high as 15th overall? I’m guessing they wouldn’t have.
But their staff had Peterka as a first-rounder on their board.
