I did try to tell them last night that the gap is not as big as they make think it is.

Eichel is the better player but we’re talking about trading a top 5 C for a top 10 C.

I don't think ANYONE on here made a ridiculous trade proposal involving Aho.

In fact, I think most said it would be Aho + 1 other mid-level piece.

I think they'll get a bit more than that.

My Idea was
Strome (Cap purposes plus good 2nd line center)
Laf (Top end prospect)
Miller (Good D prospect)
Buch (Cap purposes Good winger)

Yeah i think he gets you a couple good NHL-ready players, like 22/23 year old guys who project to be top 6 players, a good prospect and a pick. Probably a cap dump guy too.

I would be looking at more along the lines of Trocheck, Necas, Jarvis.

I would think if the Canes were going to make that move it would not include Aho, although ideally it would.
