Thats how fucked up this fanbase is.
I can't say I have seen a defenseman be so horrible defensively.
Absolutely pathetic. - Reubenkincade
Enter Erik Karlsson. He has had some doozy years in the +/- dept.

The fans can't see past his assist and point totals. They haven't had a proper PP quaterback in ages, so it's not surprising they voted heavily for him. |

Also true. Just goes to show how important Pettersson will be moving forward. - LordHumungous
A new coaching staff would be what I would do. |

Exactly. Not to mention that this team lost its rhythm after the COVID fiasco, they were in the the race for a playoff spot before that, obviously not much of a race but still they were in it.

It is what so many whined about for years. Once again they got what they wanted and are whining about it. 😆 |

Personally, I think this core is rotten.
I know people get their knickers in a knot, when I criticize Queenie and Pouty, but these 2 kids have said some things, that make me believe that they are not the types you win with.
It starts with attitude and owning up to how you play, neither seem to have that. - Reubenkincade
Agree Hughes might need some work here and it will come. Pettersson however looks to be a gamer and from what Ive seen that kid hates to lose. A little more maturity for both and they will come around. My concern on Pettersson now of course is will he be injury-prone. Hoping not and he can get on with a great Career. |

Everybody else sucked at both ends of the rink. At least Quinn was good offensively |

New ownership is where I would start but not likely to happen lol |

I was going with most likely scenario that could prove to have the most significant change the fastest. |

I know right? cus 20 & 21 year old professional athletes don't mature, or learn from their mistakes or have the mental capacity to develop. I heard once they hit 19 they plateau and what you get is the final product. Good take

Overall best defender this year for me is Schmidt.
Most offensive and exciting is Hughes |

Reuby doesn't like Hughes, which is his opinion. I think Hughes needs a NHL caliber pairing defense partner and more freedom to play his style. I like Hughes though |

Karlsson's second year in the league was almost a carbon copy of Hughes's.

I know Ruby hates Hughes. 😆 its turning into Vantel and his hate for the Sedins.
Hamonic is a fine partner with him. Just not as a first pair. Edler and Schmidt are also not first pair D.
I was hoping for better out of the team all together this year and got worse. |

QH looked lost this season without Tanev. Lately with Hamonic finally finding a groove its been better. Still QH will need to improve his defensive lapses. |

Lol.
I hope that is a joke. The reason why the kid is as bad as he is, is because he is given the freedom to do what he wants, hence why he is often the last man back into the defensive zone. |
