Matthews has durability issues. All those guys were pretty hardy in terms of games played. Bure had the injury issues later on. I'd take Naslund over Matthews just as a goal scorer. Matthews has recency bias, and Naslund was scoring through all the holding etc. If Naslund had the freedom to move like they do now, with a stick anywhere near the hands a penalty, he'd have scored even more.

Naslund scored 40G 3 times in his career. The first time he did it he was 27. Matthews has done it thrice already at the age of 23. It's not even close.

Naslund was rarely a PPG producer, 4 times in his career. AM is already a PPG producer for his career. IF they were both Canucks I don't think you'd argue this at all.

A few of us mentioned early this season, that maybe a certain player had requested a trade, because of the way the player was playing at that time, maybe that same person is the veteran that is skipping the exit interviews, to push the issue.
