Just like crypto-currency, NFTs are just things given imaginary value. It's the same fascination for people as collecting rare comic books, trading cards, etc. It's just about being able to say "I own this, and no one else does".
I saw a tweet the other day explaining the crypto craze to someone who knew nothing about it. "Imagine if leaving your car idling 24/7 produced solved sudokus, which you could then trade in for crack" - NorthNuck

Nor has EP reached his in just 2 seasons.
This conversation is stupid.
I can fully understand being sour and fed up with Ownership & Management (the ACTUAL issues), but you're clearly doubling down on this because you are pissy that people called you out for dumping on a guy with a wrist injury.
Pettersson is still wicked good.
Matthews had to deal with severe shoulder injuries a couple years ago. They're setbacks-- it happens.
But they're both legitimate All-Stars & top world talents.
But sure, let's ridicule and label him as some fragile underachiever due to a wrist injury, even though everything prior to this season has suggested that he can potentially be the greatest player in the franchise's history.
I wonder if other fanbases are so quick to turn on their top talent. If so, even Nate Mac must've been viewed as disappointing when COL was a bottom feeder a few years ago... - Lotto 6-40-9
Yep very well said. Ditching on EP after two seasons and an injury year is a pretty chicken-Sh!t move but I get it. The fanbase is pissy. Good to see JB back with the Sedins to see this through. EP and Hughes will be top talents vying for awards a lot on here will be eating words to be sure lol.

The Canucks are not like other franchises.
I think golfing is just playing the odds. If you’ve been a Canuck fan for a long time you know that anything this franchise touches turns to poop. And it’s nobody’s fault but their own. Self inflicted wounds usually cause by poor ownership and/or poor management.
So if you’re a betting man, bet on EP not living up to expectations because he is a Canuck. That way you won’t be disappointed when the inevitable happens. - bloatedmosquito

As long as Francesco Aquilini and Jim Benning are associated with the Canucks franchise they’re destined to fail. Just look at all the nonsense of bringing in ex players instead of performing a proper vetting process to hire a professional president and general manager.
The Canucks have turned into the Kevin Lowe - Craig McTavish era Oilers, without the multiple first overall picks. They’ve failed on the ice, which has brought in multiple fantastic young players but they’re unable to build around them.....it’s really a cryin shame for the fan base. - LeftCoaster
79 the other day...
Went with the Epic Flash 3-wood and it's absolute money off the tee but turf shots are very tough lol...see where it goes.

There will be crying on whining on this board, very rarely eating words unfortunately. The people who complain and cry weren't around during the playoff run much, some people would rather just see the world negatively no matter what.
Big game today. Hopefully they go with a youth heavy lineup, play Edler 44 minutes to get him a goal, and lose to not jump over Ottawa in the standings
I feel like this veteran player flying straight home might be sloppy reporting as Tanner Pearson(a Veteran Player) is flying directly home from Calgary, which has been approved by management. I like JPat at times but this feels like stirring the pot.

Probably a family emergency or something then. Would make sense if he won't be coming back for exit interviews.

The NHL is re-testing some of its teams after some of the COVID testing results came back last night. There is hope that they will be proven to be false positives. NHL might not be the only sport affected. We should know by later in the afternoon
