The NHL is re-testing some of its teams after some of the COVID testing results came back last night. There is hope that they will be proven to be false positives. NHL might not be the only sport affected. We should know by later in the afternoon

i'm busting your chops.

i've been to scottsdale several times. it's just way too hot for me (except in the winter meaning after november. actually went once during halloween and it was still 30+ during the day lol) during the day. everywhere has air con but it's tough being outside.

on the plus side, scottsdale is nice... to visit.... occassionally... for a weekend.

If a bunch of teams test positive, will others play and they postpone the 2nd round, or will they cancel the playoffs?

I had brunch w a hot ER Doctor down here yesterday . She mentioned they rarely have covid patients anymore. Laugh all you want but it’s true. Other than the odd covid sign there isn’t evidence of the plague

You obviously don't know how it works then because the only reason you end up in the hospital with Covid in the US is 1. If you're dying 2. If you can afford it.

My gf's dad is an ER nurse here and when he's doing triage part of his job is to tell people to get lost if they show up with any Covid symptoms.

I don't think cancelling the playoffs would happen. Postpone the teams that do test positive for a few days to see how bad.
