Correct. - LordHumungous
Cam Robinson said the Canucks did it to the tune of 7M years ago. Pretty much the exact same thing he said. I guess Van should be punished as well. Again. |

Maybe because we aren't there to go to the games, we don't feel the same. - manvanfan
Maybe.
It’s a free world though.
Watch on TV or go to the games live.
If you don’t, someone else will.
Or go watch the comets, or another sport if you want.
I’m not worried about the billionaires.
Aquas got money to cover the games that don’t sellout for a few years if need be. |

I find a lot of the apathy quite comical.
I watch every game, never live because there is just to much chores to be done, but at around 9:30 i will watch and fast forward commercials and talking heads. Who would ever want to listen to Satiar or taj is beyond me.
If I lived in Vancouver and had the money Don claims to have I would have seasons tickets.
To each their own. |

Some need help. They will take it from anyone.
I don't think if I lived there, I would have time to go to every game but I certainly would be sharing tickets with others friends and family members. |

11 goals were scored yesterday, I had the game playing the entire time, I think I saw 3 goals go in. |

Yup. However if I did that I wouldn't be apathetic right now, I'd be seriously pissed off. Not just at the beer prices but with the product on the ice. |

There will be sellouts. After a pandemic people with means will be going to live events.
But whoever is in charge of the Canucks won't change the mood until the winning is undeniable. |

Yup, just have to gut half of the team from horrendous contracts, fire the inept & confused GM and management team & get rid of the smug AHL coach and his short bus of assistants. Other than that, they're set up pretty good for the future. - Marwood
But wait, the GM can be confused and inept, but still set the team up "pretty good for the future". Sounds like a good old fashion cintradiction to me. No wonder you stick to nsults and dinosaur bands. |

We hear a lot from half the fan base, I see on twitter a lot of fans like Nuckup that are over the moon about the team and don't seem to hear about anything good from the media about the team.
Last year in the playoffs, it was all about the new young core and how good they were going to be and how Demko was coming into his own. - manvanfan
Exactly. The biggest thing imo is the new division and petey hurt for what sounds like was most of the year. Bunch of players took steps. Need to shed the dead weight and keep getting faster. Gadjovic and Mac in the bottom 6 makes us immediately a bit tougher.

The Canucks are among the more expensive franchises to see a game. If you took your spouse and kids to a game, you would be spending $500 easy. If you wanted to sit in the lower bowl, closer to $1000.
If you were paying that kind of money would you be happy to just be at a game, regardless of the quality of the product? |

I don’t think that gets it done.
Min 3 years, min $3.5 and that would include a NMC. I bet he gets something in the ballpark of $16m over 4 years. - 1970vintage

Plug in podz, EP healthy. Young bottom 6.. I'd like to see a steady RHD. Like others have mentioned. Hamonic has been ok, but an upgrade would be nice imo. Savard... basically a Tanev type - neem55
I’m all for Savard 4/3.5m maybe |

It’s pretty amusing as I haven’t been this optimistic in a long time. The org needs changes but we have some great pieces 🤷♂️ - CanuckDon
That’s my take now they need to put it together. Solid defensive top 4 d man needed. |

Much depends on cap moves. An offseason to cut bait imo.

getting rid of schmidt and adding an older and more expensive savard is going the wrong direction imo.

Schmidt just has the wrong attributes to fill a role on the blue line. They have players that are soft and can move the puck on the left side. They need a guy who wants to hit, block shots. |
