Okay I really never do predictions, but if the Habs win one it'll be because Price stood on his head.

Maybe it’s time you grew a pair and made some predictions:

As I said in the prediction thread, Leafs have to overcome Leafs more than they have to overcome Habs.
- Atomic Wedgie

Very astute. I might get around to filling out the whole thing and add some gems before puck drop if I take a bit of time off work.

Habs get fans

When you met Gilmour as a child, did he complain that you spelled his name wrong?

Honestly Scabeh, it is up to the Leafs to win or lose this. They will play to their potential or they will choke again.
- Aetherial

Habs are decent but really don't belong on the same ice surface as this year's leafs roster. If TO gets goaltending it will be a short series that favors TO.

Would you really want to go with only 2,500 fans?

I would imagine the atmosphere would be eerie.

I’d rather save my money and watch in my backyard with friends.

It's better then no fans

So weird question:

If I am at a place on Saturday night without cable, will the game be on OTA satellite?

Not sure if they still do it OTA, but Cbc.ca should have it online for free

Fixed. That's what I do at the cottage all the time during summers/fall.

Mobile hotspot and streaming device or PC works well

That one is out of my league. I have a couple buddies that have projectors but All inside and running off cable.

It'll be on OTA cbc, that's how I watch. In fact every game should be

There’s an inside TV, and I have an old electric antenna.

But will try to hotspot to computer, hooked to projector, to project to barn.

Backup plan: radio.

You need a digital tuner, if the tv has it buy a long range HD antenna off Amazon quick. They're dirt cheap and pick up decent long range signals.

I think it is.

The antenna is about eight years old.

This is a great idea, except for the wave of drunk drivers after the game.

It’s actually ridiculously easy.

$200 gets you a cheap projector, that hooks up to your computer with HDMI.

Is it crystal clear?

No, but if you have a gaggle of kids in your backyard watching a movie on a summer night, it’s more about the experience than the picture quality.

My kid is bringing his projector and pizza fixings and other food on Thursday as my birthday present. (Birthday was Sunday and I’m still hurt)
