The NHL is re-testing some of its teams after some of the COVID testing results came back last night. There is hope that they will be proven to be false positives. NHL might not be the only sport affected. We should know by later in the afternoon. - Symba007
it is what happens when not working with the best testing equipment.
canarydetect (dot) com has very good tech developed, ultra fast covid test based on saliva samples. their test is as specific as pcr - but you get a result in 25seconds.
however, our governments are still using outdated tech that are slow and invasive (some people are getting butchered by some 'medical personal' not knowing how to take a sample in a correct way).
Canary has recently announced a collaboration with British Airways, surely it could help the company to work with NHL as well (and NHL to have players tested 2 hours before the game).

What do you mean "preparing"? All they have to do is make sure their cable subscription is up to date or at least know where to find streams on-line. - Aetherial

I guess you can call it an outbreak. They’re fully vaccinated, not sick and are unlikely to infect others. - Canada Cup
It's a pretty encouraging story. 1 guy with mild symptoms and 8 asymptomatic cases? It really reinforces that the vaccines work, and it also reinforces why they felt that vaccinated people should continue to wear masks to help stop the spread to unvaccinated people.
Young Timmy O'Toole was in the stands, waiting to meet his hero.
Timmy's pet hamster "Pricey" had just died.
Thanks to the Make a Lame Wish foundation, Timmy had one simple request: he wanted to have the first stick that Price used at the May 19th Habs practice.
When Carey Price heard about it, he purposely broke that stick, as young Timmy watched, horrified, from the stands.
