You guys have a sad sack core, your best player is a midget winger who gets scared in the playoffs. - Nucker101
Just think what he’d do to Schmidt after watching Phillips embarrass him. |

This is Benning’s time to shine, if he hits on this pick and Pod pans out, this team will be in great position during the 2022 off-season - Nucker101
Power, Clarke, Edvinsson, Hughes - D
Berniers, Johnson, McTavish, Lucious, Raty - C
Guenthier, Eklund, Lysell, W
Wallstead - G
We should be able to get one of these kids - hopefully someone takes the goalie before us - only ones I'm not sure about are Raty, Lucius, Lysell
|

thank Christ that's over - so we're slotted to pick 9th - could drop to 11th?? - Brooks_Light
We’ve dropped every single year we’ve been in the lottery since it was implemented
Safe yeah we should probably drop |

Isn’t Edvinsson low IQ? This year’s Broberg? I’ll pass if that’s the case unless Benning thinks otherwise |

So with NJD going to win 1OA and Rangers 2OA(because why not repeat past winners?) I guess we will drop to 10th? |

Biggest focus is sweeten the pot for the Kraken to take on some of our salary.
Next up is take on a player or 2 from teams losing a player in the e-draft. Must be very selective on who & price if a deal is there.
Of course a legit 3C & top 4 RHD is a must or at least get 1. |

Believe June 2nd is when lotto gets sorted.
Mctavish and Clarke would be best for Canuck roster. |

Now fill in what is conveniently omitted.
Don’t bother it’s been done many times here.
That article has nothing new in it. |

i just find the whole thing funny now. but from the article:
The Canucks have made just 48 combined picks over the past seven drafts, an average which is somehow below the initial one (of seven allotted picks) that the league gives you for simply existing.

Yeah I heard that. Poor pass completion, tendency to panic in his own end. But improved as the season went on in Allsvenskan. Great at getting shots through from the line. Good gap control and able to limit high danger shots. Great skater, decent zone exist, good mobility. Seems to be all over the map but apparently improved quite a bit as he got used to play against men. |

I wanted to bring the e-draft up again. This is the biggest focus the new management group should have to improve the team until the draft.
They can add a C and RSD for cheap and can afford not to protect bubble players OJ/Lind/Gadj etc. only name player Krack likely takes is Holtby. |

Cant see any of the top rated Dmen (4) being left/available around 9-11. |

Anyone can do a post mortem. Lol
Missing the playoffs is one thing but not the end of the world neither. JB didn’t help himself with UFA signings but they will disappear soon enough. Nor did he sign Luongo but had to eat the recapture. He only only has FA’s blessing for 1 more season. Beyond that is up in the air. It’s an offseason of many options that’ll ultimately decide his hockey future & the Canucks. We just have to have faith. Ouch lol |

Let's see what the order is first. Teams priorities determine a lot especially in an unstable ranked draft. |

Yes that's the point of focusing on trading with teams that can't e-draft protect a C and RSD that will fit for Nucks. |
