Pretty sure nobody here expects us to play NYI/CBJ brand of hockey. Put simply it’s not a style most players like & definitely not for the make up of our roster.

Collapsing on D doesn’t force a team into mistakes. It only wears down a team & results to clear the zone then dump in & change lines far too often. This is one factor that explains leading the league in shots against.

Its really very simple...

Green has tools in tool box. You use what you have to work with. Chasing from behind happens when try to put a square peg in a round hole. The system has to fit the personnel. Last time that happened was when Crow coached & that a close time to win a cup if not unlucky with big injuries. It also was exciting hockey & this team has a similar roster without the D quite there yet.
