legit question: why was gillman let go? was it a conflict with TL? that's what i seem to remember but can't recall? or was it general dissatisfaction with FA/TL/JB/management.

I wouldn’t sign any UFA’s for longer than 1 year and I wouldn’t give out any NTC/NMC to anyone.

I’d resign Grayovac and Bailey and run with the guys they have:

Motte, Beagle, Roussel, Highmore, Grayovac, Bailey, Lockwood, Michalis, Lind, Gadjovic, Jasek, whoever.

Well I had the club finishing no worse than 21st so it's close. A regulation win tonight gives us 23rd spot so that would probably be 9-10 OA pick. I had us picking 11-13 this year so it's close again. Even if we pick at 9-10 it's gonna be a damn good player. Hopefully a RHD and not BPA outside of the top 5 IMO.

Would be nice if Lockwood put on about 15 lbs so hes a bit more sturdy if he plans on taking the Motte route in the NHL.

With the farm team in Abbotsford they should spend a lot of time bringing up/sending down guys - maximizing cap space so they can either upgrade or take on a bad contract - depending on how they do.
