oh yeah, you don't mind trading schmidt for a cap dump.

- RealityChecker

anything more than a cap dump is what I said.So if you can unload him for a late round pick or random prospect to clear the cap, that's cool with me. No need for a quitter in the locker room.

Is he even smart enough for college?
I want to know all the other future Canucks that are playing junior. It’s an honest question.

- K-man25

they've gone Euro and college heavy lately so not many CHL prospects

Young core is good but not if there’s no one coming from junior or university just means you’ve been drafting at a good position that has allowed them to step right in. Do the Canucks have any prospects that didn’t play pro last year. Honest question.
- K-man25

yes but they'll need to fill up more in this draft.

I'm no expert, but last years pick Joni Jurmo is playing in Finland in a div 2 league or something.

Was just curious as I’ve seen where Bennings been picking and couldn’t remember any junior players.

Rathbone can easily replace Schmidt for way cheaper. Same type of player.

Yes, potentially. Homegrown too so way less chance he turns his back on this franchise.

I don’t like either the Leafs or Habs, but as a Canadian, this is actually pretty cool.

Too early to say, Lind looks like a solid future 3rd line(like Dube) right winger if he can adjust to the NHL If he can't adjust then we move on
