Forsling wasn't needed in VAN, Benning stated he already had the same kind of player in Jordan Subban .
Another epic trade by our "Super Scout" GM. - VanHockeyGuy

He has Hughes and Rathbone now, let it go
What’s next, someone gonna whine about Nic Dowd? - Nucker101
As long as they don’t sign Dowd to a $3x3 to replace Beagle this off season, it’s all good. |

"Let it go" and "who cares" seems to be thrown around a lot when people bring up Benning mistakes. |

Don't worry the Sedins are smarter then Sacksh!t and Yzerpuke. They believe they owe Canuck nation a Cup. The'll learn hockey ops fast enough to kick JB into VP role before his contract is up. |

Haters are blind to facts calling them excuses. In a nutshell plenty of blame to go around. Season was doomed:
"Along the way, there was an impossible schedule at the start, a debilitating COVID-19 outbreak, an avalanche of injuries, an even worse schedule at the end, and several other subplots surrounding general manger Jim Benning and what has become a consumer confidence crisis about ownership." |

It's been a twitter/media driven mantra , over the top and unprofessional in my opinion.
It was refreshing today that someone was on the radio today and called it out.

JB/Green got 2 years to put up or they're gone . Fair deal from ownership, since they all but admitted that losing Tanev/Toffoli was on on the budget restriction they put on management. A good pick this year and , I am so stoked for Podz , he'll be a star |

Yup. Losing those 2 were setbacks. Schmidt is a better all around D but he wasn't QH partner. Hammer was behind in training and then injured. No way rookie Chatfield could consistently spot QH roving. This is just part of the debacle they started on.
But people don't seem to want fixes when they get let down they scream for blood. |

Yes, they're changing the goaltending coach. - RealityChecker
“Clarkie is, he's unbelievable,” Demko said of his mentor who is widely regarded, at least outside the organization, as one of the best goalie coaches on the planet. “I mean, I owe probably just about everything to him. I don't speak too much about him in the media, but -- obviously, I'm putting in the work -- but the way he's guided me and mentored me, it's been amazing. I just really hope that they can figure something out, and have him return.
“I think the momentum that him and I have right now is exciting. I think that there's still a ton of room for me to grow. The work that he and I put in over the last few years, just the habits and the routines and the way that we're able to think the game and be on the same page now, is something that I'd love to continue to do down the stretch here in the next few years. I really hope he gets back here.”

I agree. As I said earlier when Milan Lucic out points EP40 it’s not a coaching problem. Sign a few veteran leaders to show the young core the way. Ryan, Levio, Nordstrom, Simon should all be available. |
