This was a top level performance by the Isles in the defensive end. More importantly, Barzal, Ebs, nelson and Beauvillier all turned their game up. We all know how streaky those guys are, getting them on the right track would go a long way

definitely. you guys should be obligated to get varly in there. he makes more ten bell saves than sorokin, but the entire complexion of the game changes when he gives up that first softy. Isles are a tough team to play catch up against.

My mantra in the fall playoff run was every Isles playoff game I got to watch was a bonus. With that win tonight we got at least two more games to watch. If they can keep up their style of play, I like our chances. From the third in the last game through tonight they flipped a switch. Let’s hope it continues.

That’s a good attitude to have. I just think about where we were not too long ago with Snow, Weight, and Capuano and this is always gravy. I felt good going into this series but thought we had another gear we weren’t seeing. I think we saw it today. Hopefully this isn’t a one off for Beau, Barzal, Nelson, Ebs, and Bailey and these guys get hot at the right time
