not gonna disagree.
no one wants to listen but there needs to be a culture change on this team.
the vets brought in didn't and aren't helping.
but i'm going to get called a whiner for saying that at times some of these guys behave like whiny little kids (which is what some of them are just by virtue of age lol.) - RealityChecker
Ya, anytime a new acquisition is made and a former teammate/s 1st response is how good of a guy he is and he is funny, makes me nervous.
But I too will be considered a whiner, because I have expressed my dislike for Hughes and Schmidt, well actually the whole defense corps.
As a fan for 51 seasons, I really don't give a rats ass what people say or think of my opinion, I want to see a team that is way more cohesive than what we have seen in the last decade or so. |

What people choose to do in their personal lives is their own business. I'm trying my best to move on and stick to Hockey. I'll just continue to let the champs make assess of themselves on vaccinations and covidbuzz in here daily. People believe what they believe. No one is changing any minds in here either way lol - LordHumungous
I don’t agree with a lot of your comments but this is right on! Quit worrying about what others are doing and take care of yourself as you see fit. Life’s about choices, only you can make them for yourself.
And so happy for you guys to get Green and Jimmy back, as Nucker put it that’s some great loyalty for all their hard work.

i care very much what people here think. i'm only here to make friends.
with respect to the article you posted and buyouts, i don't JV will be necessary.
i think that they'll be able to void it through the morals clause in the Standard Player Contract. i think they're just waiting until the reports (police and they're probably conducting their own limited investigation.)
in any event, i think they move to void and don't see JV fighting it.... unless everything turns out to be completely fabricated.
btw, i don't think a criminal charge is necessarily the bar. i think as long as there is some corroboration of bad behaviour, that'll be enough for the organization.

Sedins baby!! Big things on the horizon.
maybe the Sedins could convince JB to trade up at the draft to snag Luke Hughes... with their inner Brian Burke...
But seriously if Hughes or Brandt Clarke fall to us it's a no-brainer. Or move down in the draft and go with Carson Lambos or Corson Ceuleman but they might be at the 9-10 spot anyways. |

Green was emphatic in presser that changes will be made. Instead of glass half full/empty takes try objective truth it's both or just a half glass. |

Good points and the optics is what's key here of course. Regardless of guilt or being innocent I'm betting the franchise moves on. Enough with the bad press already lol

Even if they can't get out from his contract, I would think the owners would want nothing to do with the bad press he will bring to the team, so I think they will pay the 50 000 in the 1st year and the 500 000 in the 2nd year, for a buyout.

Good press is to get out from his contract. Better off he goes to the KHL where he belongs. |
