with respect to the article you posted and buyouts, i don't JV will be necessary.

i think that they'll be able to void it through the morals clause in the Standard Player Contract. i think they're just waiting until the reports (police and they're probably conducting their own limited investigation.)

in any event, i think they move to void and don't see JV fighting it.... unless everything turns out to be completely fabricated.

btw, i don't think a criminal charge is necessarily the bar. i think as long as there is some corroboration of bad behaviour, that'll be enough for the organization.

Doesn't it seem weird, it came out on Twitter, no police complaint to start, followed by a civil suit all the while 4 trs ago. Very hard for either side to compile evidence.

It's the truth, it was said after saying he wanted him back , but the media has been driving this coaching agenda as if they were getting kickbacks from the agents, good on JB for putting it out there , he's not the only coach in the game

yeah exactly.

let's remember that we're dealing with multi-millions of dollars. if/when they move to terminate, they'll have reams of documents (interviews, reports etc.) backing up why.

and if/when it gets to that point, i really don't see JV fighting it. i would think he'd want to get past this and not cause more problems with the league (if he has any inclination to get back.)

*i'm not getting into the legal/moral ramifications. not because i don't understand or don't appreciate the gravity of the situation but because we're only discussing the hockey related tangents. just wanted to throw that out there.
