To tell you the truth, I am feeling fairly optimistic this off-season. I really believe that all the negative press and the fans voicing their displeasure was heard by the owners, who have reconsidered what direction and how the team is managed.
Sure they kept the current management, but I hope they gave clear direction to change course and do what needs to be done.
We will see over the next 6 weeks or so, if it was bs or if they are sincere about it. - Reubenkincade

I don’t think their is any mystery or conspiracy with JB.
Aqua tightened the purse strings this year and following a review has agreed to open them again next year.
Call it “an excuse “ if you want, but Covid had an impact on how the season was managed and how it played out.

A few months back, I posted that I had contacted the Canucks PR department, to voice my displeasure with the team. I explained that I am in Northern BC, but watch at least 80% of Canucks games, which generates revenue for the league(tv viewership).
A couple old high-school buddies, who are season ticket holders asked me if I could help out by doing this.
From what they had told me, several thousand people had done it, at that time.
Did it help in anyway, who knows, but all it cost me was my 10 minutes of time.

Good. He clearly needs more support in various areas, coaching and management could use more personnel and expertise imo
