Nobody that isn't trolling in here is using it as an excuse, they are saying it made things much more difficult that other teams schedules and the Canucks team could not overcome it.
The Canucks were less than what most had hoped for. Not that big of a deal unless you're a jumper. - manvanfan
wanting to hold the general manager accountable for his lack of success, direction, and execution doesn't make you a jumper. Neither does having blind support for that person.
Id argue that insinuating anyone, regardless of their bias or opinion, is trolling anything is wrong.. Nobody here voices their opinion to troll, or not that I have seen anyway. And no matter which way you lean, doesnt make you any less or more of a fan. |

JB, no players have asked to be traded. - VanHockeyGuy
I’d still move Schmidt out unless he has a reasonable reason for skipping exit meetings unless that was another false flag planted by the local media |

what is your problem? this isn't the first time you have gone after VHG for getting Covid. Be better - Codes1087
Because he is the guy who gets a DUI and then mocks others for getting one themselves.
Its not as if he is treating others in here with respect with what he says. Why should i give him that? |

I'm for free choice. As such I won't criticize anybody's decisions with what they put into or keep out of their bodies. Nor will I ever use my decisions to feed that criticism and peer pressure. This comes with one exception, those filthy Astra Zeneca scum. - Load Management
They're worse than Benning apologists. |

how do you figure and make that analogy. He never denied the existance of Covid, or spewed anything in regards to being against the public health measures or restrictions. He has stated he wore his mask whenever advised or required, and is now preaching and stating that he doesn't wish what he dealt with on anybody. I just dont get the whole dunking on him for getting Covid. Carsonagenic is no different, he didn't defy rules or regulations and still got it..

Son, you have zero idea about my circumstances on this matter, nor do I share my personal business with random internet people. I'm not mocking anyone who's had Covid-19. In fact I've lost 3 good friends since January. Thanks for you're typical ignorant millennial assumptions though. |

Every team had condensed schedules including multiple back to backs throughout the season. Canucks had theirs to start the year. It is an excuse. Did the canuck have a slightly tougher schedule than some other teams in the north? Possibly.. but at what point do we actually sit here and stop making excuses for failures. Lordy keeps saying that miller whined to get games pushed back and have the season pushed abit so the guys can recover, and they still lost important games to Ottawa, Winnipeg, Oilers and Flames. What about the other 34 games after the "super difficult" condensed 19 games in 30 days schedule. - Codes1087
No team played as many games at the start of the season. Fact
Canucks didn't weather it well. Fact
No team had a long covid break like the Canucks. Fact
No team had a finishing 1/2 a season as did the Canucks. Fact
Canucks did not overcome nor excel. Fact |

I didn't make it all that personal. Just asked him a question. Two questions to be exact.
He has been very critical on how others are treating covid after getting it. |

see, this is why i respect your opinion. Its never black and white. The Canucks could have been dealt a bad hand with covid, and with a tougher than average schedule, but they were still bad when those two things above dont apply. My point is, you can ackowledge that every team dealt with external obstacles this season, covid/schedule/cap/etc, but because it was never isolated to JUST to the Canucks, it can never be (in my opinion) a sole excuse for any failure. |

I didn't say anything about your circumstances. You fully admitted you got covid and have clearly mocked Lordy and others about their views on it. Those are just two facts. |

I simply don’t buy into ppl branding anything excuses. I rather call it for what it was...failure simply put.
Character is tested in the face of adversity.
That is what I will wait to see how JB et al respond to next year. I will be critical being that it’s time to ascend onto greater times. Nobody gets a free pass from me. Shlt or get off the pot. |

Over under on Edler and Sutter coming back?
I'll set the both back percentage at 95 percent
I'll take the Over |

JB has one year left in my rebuild playbook for the team to be competitive, youth to show up in system to show its not all high picks.
Green got two years but if team does suck next season, they both gone. |

Edler I bet yes as long as he’s willing
Sutter I say 50/50 depends on salary and other trade/UFA options. He’s a fallback option |
