8:45 start because of Leafs/Habs game....purely a TV decision.

On another note, I am tired of the NHL disrespecting Winnipeg fans.

In 2015 when the Jets played the Ducks, all the local game starts happened at 8 or 9:00pm. Today’s game starting at 8:45pm is a travesty on so many levels. You have the top 2 players in the league playing late, which makes no sense in a marketing sense as well Winnipeg fans being forced to stay up late, especially those with kids not being fully able to enjoy the game, which should in reality be played tomorrow at 7:00pm.

It’s also a great way to show off McDavid, Draisatl, Scheifele, Hellebyuck, etc...., especially playing them at 9:45pm ET. Makes no sense. Also makes no sense that this series has back-to-back games, as I did not realize that the Oilers and Jets arena’s are probably booked for concerts at this time.

I appreciate what Forbort does with what he has but there is a reason he is a 1st round bust.
