Hornquist hit was clean and Kucherov is a freaking drama queen.

Just like he was injured all season and then magically 110% healthy come playoff time to circumvent the cap, he acted like he was shot and will magically be better next game.

The first thing shown on tv was Kucherov rolling around like his knee was destroyed. I was anxiously awaiting a replay, half afraid to see what Duclair could’ve done to cause such a devastating looking injury. Idk, Guess he must’ve caught him on a nerve, like the “funny bone” spot on the elbow.

Well, I'd like to see Nashville draw more blood from Carolina and the Cats aren't done yet. I'll be surprised if this doesn't go seven games. If Kuch and Serg are hurt, that takes some of the wind out of Tampa's sails. And the Bolts defense is a patchwork with Sergachev healthy. Seeing more of Schenn, Rutta, Borgman, and Foote is not a recipe for success.

I think ‘Stone Cold’ Anton Stralman just rapidly declined after signing with Florida. The lack of true defensive help around him has probably further exposed that.

He also looks like he’s lost confidence being here.

The goalie situation in this series is all discombobulated. For the Cats, I don't think the issue is quality of goaltending. Forget how much Bob is being paid and look at the individual goals. Sure, he wants a bunch of those back, but several were not stoppable. If you keep giving Tampa power plays with Kuch/Stamkos bombing you from the dots, it's not going to end well, regardless of who is in net.

Cats have won the 5v5 battle for almost the entire series. They have to find ways to finish their chances, like they did in overtime. The Bolts defense is struggling (and Hedman is hobbled) and they are going to give up plenty of chances. The Cats have fewer guys who can bury those chances on average. Sucks about Stralman. I hated to see him go and hoped he would have continued success down south.

Next game should be nuts. Put on your seatbelts. Have your bourbon ready.
