I think that is why they did it... just slow things down... and it worked. Everyone the officials both on and off ice were confused by that.

I was surprised they weren't called in the sense they'd be makeup calls, but from what I've seen so far they're clearly focused on the cheap stick work. If that stays the focus Habs will be in the box all series.
