Glad Keefe gave him another game, kill any confidence he has if he sits him after 1 game.

Looked good last shift, thankfully.

- Garnie

respectfully - couldn't disagree more.

that crap last game was vintage Jake Gardiner like....

the ONLY way to send a message to him and to the team... is sit and learn.

they should have put Hutton or Dermott in for this 2nd game, and same thing with Joe Thornton... love the guy but he did nothing positive in Game 1

if they lose tonight... then Keefe's in a real bind...

Marners been killing that line. Poor decision making, sloppy turnovers, piss poor rush attempts.... Offence killed for that line every time.

He has to play faster and stop doodling with the puck... And he looks slow... Our whole team looks slow... I know it is the system Montreal is playing, but just dump it in and go heavy forcheck and for Cherry’s-sake finish your checks!!!

The 2018 playoffs really is an outlier. He’s just not a playoff performer.

Need to get him away from Matthews if he can't figure it out quick, can't have him neutering our best player and expect it to work out.

I didn't think the goal was super terrible. The Leafs had a chance almost identical but the puck hopped over Folignos stick. Crazy how an entire team looks snakebitten. (No pun intended )

I also Rielly had 4 other guys to make an outlet pass to and iced it.

Other than that, they are fine. Spezzy is good.

Hutton is brutal. He should never play unless injuries mean its him or Marincin.

Other thing stop doing the Hyman dump in routine. Put it in the trapezoids or Price is gonna be a factor handling it.

I believe he has the most points in the playoffs between him, am and willie.

I think Hutton sucks, maybe Dermott. I agree with Joe, it hurts me to watch him struggling.

you are entitled to your opinion certainly... I would however suggest that Paul Byron would not have walked by Hutton like he did on Sandin.... and maybe just maybe Hutton might hit somebody... you know once in a while.

but I'm and old fashioned boomer so what do I know about the new generation of wilting flowers that play hockey

This.
Plus the fact that his PPG in playoffs is similar to Matthews.
After 50+ playoff games we can discuss whether they are or aren't playoff performers.
(Would be nice to have a Danny Briere on the team though)
