Noah has a great future and this is a great learning experience but he has struggled.

When did Barzal become afraid to shoot?

Jarry vs Sorokinn - I think the Isles have the advantage.

Barzal has a decent shot, but he has always shown a preference to pass.

Last game was terrible. He's gone numb from the shoulders up.

In an even game. Problem is the Pens have more players who are legit scoring threats. I'm not sure what the final shot count was but Sorokin stands to face a lot more in the way of high pctg opportunities.

If the Isles get the winner, I'm calling Ebs to do it again....

Isles have a good chance. If Sorkin were the Pens goalie this series would be pretty much done.

Outshot 41-20 so far. Sorokin has been amazing. He’s the only reason we’re still playing.

Losing Wally is really tough and he looks like he’s gonna be out for awhile. His physicality and his want to shoot are 2 things we can’t afford to lose.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I actually think the longer this goes, the better the chance we win. Might have to be a dirty goal so hopefully these guys get the memo to shoot whenever they can.

So you're recommending we switch Pageau to the 1st line, and Barzal to the 3rd line?

Edit: That seems to be exactly what you're recommending. Interesting thought.

Sure, I'm not saying bench him. I'm saying flip the centers. Different matchup problems for the Pens. Pageau forechecks, steips the puck, Leo sweeps in in front because both were aggressive.

Potentially. Or Brock and Barzy. It won't hapoen, but when Barzal shifted long and was out with Bailey and Beau, they created a beautiful goal. Palmieri gets caught out with Barzy and Ebs, ...goal. At this point theyre scoring more with broken combos then set ones

Agree the fancy poop isn’t going to cut it. Dirty greasy goals typically win it in OT.
That said Ebs and Barzal win it with a beautiful passing play.

Barry has to sift things up now with Wally hurt and out of the lineup.

I do not understand why it's panic if Barry changes things up a bit? You are not exactly breaking up an offensive juggernaut. I would have been happy trying Beau with Barzal and MDC in for Leo a few games ago. That's an Earth shuttering change? Sullivan not changing his lines is not going to help his goaltending.
