Sorokin is the (frank)ing law

I said goaltending will be the difference in this series. Thought it would be Varly being backed up by sOrOkin but Ilya has come to make a name for himself.

It’s pretty awesome I get to just chill with this 12% stout nice and relaxed then have to sit on the edge of my seat going internally crazy.

Thanks god Barry changed things up
- nyisles7

Well, he actually did to some degree out of necessity. Once in OT, making changes goes out the window. I wouldn't thump my chest over this win as though to say: "see, the lineups worked!". We only one because our goalie came up with a super human effort and after 4.5 periods we received a total gift from Jarry.
Lots to be happy about, but still plenty in their game to be concerned about

I've been almost as bad as chiefs following him in the khl and man he's so strong latterally and quick it's amazing. Honestly the way he played the puck before the goal I though wtf is he doing and they ended up scoring

Well they play great at home so I'd assume they know they weren't good and come out better

That being the key word. I looked it up. It was first aired in 1969.

On one hand his experience in the KHL has helped condition him for pressure games but on the other, you can't help but wonder how good he might be if he had a few moreyears with Korn
The kid's side to side motion is off the charts. If the Pens don't get a couple early on Wednesday, he'll have free rent in their heads

We've received more than one gift from Jary keaner. The Pens would be in the drivers seat with better goaltending. We gladly take the wins but we have to tell it like it is. Isles have not been sharp overall this series.

Not thumping, it’s a team effort from top to bottom. Ilya kept them in it and the team found a way to win. Reset come out better in Game 6 at the Barn and win it. Not sure anyone on the team cares how they won, bottom line is as a team they dug in and won. Championship teams find a way to win when their not playing their best. That’s what this team did. Team showed guts and grit with no quit. Gotta love it.

Been following him for a few years as well. A couple of things I really like that he does, which were old school skills in the NHL but todays goalies just don't do:
1. Steering: He purposely steers shots with the intention of transition. You used to see goalies in the 70s and early 80s do this. Bernie Parent was a master of it. Sorokin kicks pucks forward and out to allow dmen to recover them heading forward.
2. Stick work: he has a very active stick, poke checking and blocking cross slot passes. Most NHLers dont do this anymore

It's scary to think how good this kid might actually become in this league. Hats off to the org for patiently awaiting his arrival

Trotz is one cool customer. I know Crappy hasn’t been around for awhile now but it is a breath of very fresh air to hear him speak after a game. He’s realistic. He’s honest. He really understands the game.

He's helped the Pens a little. That 2-1 game Varly did really settle down though. It was more game 3.

The first goal in game 2 was brutal but you give up only 2 goals you give the team a chance to win. Jary is giving the Pens very little help and is hurting them big time.

The goal is 100% on Jarry but I thought Malkin had a legit chance on keeping that puck in our zone and didn’t make much of an effort. Again, I don’t know what Jarry is doing playing it up the middle of the ice but…

Crosby must be having fits. I'm not that impressed with Sullivan as a coach but Jary is killing them.

Another team with goalie issues among other things. Varly for Leon.

I also feel beau hustle forced Jarry to make poor decision.
