I'm not sure which was worse, the no-call on interference or the no-call on the high stick. Either were easy and obvious but instead we get a high sticking penalty when Guentzel high sticks himself in the face

The ref watching the entire play and the ensuing, obvious, injury, unfold right in front of him makes it even more tough to watch. The thought of losing another shooter from our lineup is scary. The kid has been a bull this entire series. Zajac or MDC? I would rather see MDC in all honesty. Zajac has been invisible for us though who knows maybe he shows us something different in the PO’s?

It honestly looked like he had to shoot b/c there was no where to go which is why it surprissd Jarry so much.. looked like he was going to take it left...

Side note- USA vs Kazakstan on NHL network starting right now and they just interviewed head coach Jack Capuano. ... I can't believe how long that guy was our coach.

There is so many penalties there it's nuts.

no possesion of puck so it's interference as u said..
launched a guy into the boards from 2 feet away is a boarding call .. possibly a major since he got hurt.

As long as the non call doesn't lead to a goal I am fine with it. There pp has been bad for the most part. After the islanders had a pp and didn't score it led to the Penguins taking a 2-1 lead

That was a heroic performance by Sorokin. This series would of been over with if Sorkin played all the games

At full speed, it looked like both of them were bracing to shoulder each other, so I get not calling interference. Not sure how they miss the stick right there in the neck though.

He did it another time last night, too...either to Mayfield or Pelech...after his path to the net was cut off. Tried the exact same play he got the call for in Game 4 where he just flops forward and hangs all over the d-man like he's wasted at a college party.

Barzal would have racked up $6,000 in fines by now if he was doing that
