Sakic did a great job rebuilding that team. They are so good and the scary part is they are young and will be good for awhile. He’s going to have a problem keeping them together if the Cap truly doesn’t go up next year.

Can’t imagine long term for Kuch. Side of knee is tough spot to get slashed by heel of stick but I’d bet not long term. Possibly a game to rest seeing they’re up 3-1 but who knows?

I don’t and it didn’t look like much of a slash from Duclair but the guy dropped like a bag of bricks and had to be helped off the ice. Who knows maybe he’s full of crap like them circumventing the salary cap it’s certainly possible but if both him and sergachev are out not sure if they’ll make it past Boston or anyone else for that matter.
