Let them rest. I don’t think that’s too advantageous in the playoffs.

Can we still hope someone punches Wilson in the face in the handshake line?

Me too. Goaltending was huge. Rask was excellent in my opinion. If they had Lundquist I wonder if there would have been a different outcome or at least closer.

Certainly the Lundqvist of 4 or 5 years ago. Putting aside his health issues, I don't think he's the goalie he once was. On the other hand, even an old Lundqvist would likely have been better than Samsonov.

So yes and maybe no

In all honesty Lundquist was better than both the Caps goalies in MHO

Wow 3-0 for the Jets. I’m feeling for The Schwein.

I hate to say this as an Isles fan but him not winning a Cup is nuts. I think he was better than Richter. The year they lost to the Kings…that was all him, he was incredible that year.

really a nice change of pace when our goalie didn't let the first shot on goal in the net.

If the Islanders go on a deep run with Sorokin in goal how much do you think he will make this summer.

Based on line rushes at the morning skate, Mike Sullivan won't be making changes to the #Pens lineup.

Naturally the whole game will be intense tonight, but the first 8-10 minutes will be huge. You know the Pens are going to come on hard early. The Isles will have to stay disciplined and counterpunch when opportunity allows. Getting the first goal is so huge here as both teams are so good at locking down with a lead and forcing teams to play out of their structure.
I'm really hoping the BNB line keeps bringing it like they did last game. They're the main key to victory IMO

Agree on all.
BNB line has done a great job on Cindy's line and Sullivan with the last change tonight will probs try to match them up against Barzal's line. I think Barzal needs to have a big game tonight. He was much better last game and I think he needs to make an impact on the series. I have a feeling tonight will be the night. Team needs to come with the same energy and structure they played with last game and they will be fine.
Let's Go Islanders!

If they keep playing they way that they did on Saturday I'm extremely confident that they can win the series. Saturday was the Islanders from last year's playoffs, not whatever evil twin showed up prior to that.
