Just saw the clip. Hoping it's just his groin from the way his legs went different directions as he spun out. Could be a tear in the hip, that would be worse.

Jack is a better skater- Zib is a better shooter and scorer. I don't think its close on defense

Skating: Eichel gets up ice faster than I expect, but he is far from natural, IMO. He could slow down significantly - Nothing wrong with Zib's skating. I take Zib.
Eichel currently has a very serious injury - Zib has history of concussions. Wash.
Contract: $10M for 6 more years. - Zib, at the highest what, $8.5-9 for about the same Zib.
Faceoffs (career avg): Eichel 44.2% - Zib: 49.4% Zib.
Intangibles: Eichel is a baby that blames management and coaches. - Zib is a teammate first, that wants to be part of a solution. Zib all day.

Conclusion: ZIB ALL DAY.

I know a guy that can fix all that!

The kid has played close to twice as much hockey as a forward as he has defense in his life. I'd say we have reason to overvalue him at this point!
Just hope he grows into a little more snarl as he gets more and more comfortable.

they have three 7th round picks though, that should make em feel better
