Canadian Division has been exposed as the WORST in the NHL.
Top seed Toronto is being forced to a game 7 against a Montreal team that was worse than our Rangers.
Second seed Edmonton got SWEPT!
Just can't wait until this crazy COVID season is over... |

still struggling to accept it |

If it was just Quinn and they used the excuse of wanting someone a bit more experienced to take this team to the next step. Thats something I feel most could get behind whether they agree or not. But JD certainly didnt deserve it. |

I still feel horrible for JD.
Actually kinda glad that Columbus took him back. They showed class to let him leave for his dream job and then snapped him up again when Dolan tossed him away.
I actually hope he hires Quinn as a final F U. |

You're not wrong really. But, game 7 is only happening because of Carey Price.
We've all seen teams go further than they should because of a hot goalie. |

I would’ve been fine with just Quinn. What’s sucks is JD wasnt going to be fired. He disagreed with Gorton being let go so Dolan let them both go. This could back fire really bad for Dolan or some how he comes out a genius |

OK, but what is the reaction going to be if/when Toronto goes out in the FIRST ROUND yet again? Can't blame Tavares injury or a hot Price for everything? |

IF Toronto makes it out of this game 7, I think they will go on a tear. A LOT of pressure to finally get a playoff series win. |

I don’t think they stack up anywhere near one of the American teams that will make it through let alone playing a Winnipeg team that not only has a great goalie but can also score where Montreal relies on Price all the time. |

Anyone know if Kakko was invited to play for Finland? Would have been cool to see him over there. |

Perhaps the days of the Rangers drafting highly skilled, yet soft players from Europe are over... - TommyGTrain
with Drury in charge, maybe the later draft picks will be a lot more college guys than European guys
it's still the wisest thing to use those picks where you can keep control for 4 years instead of only the 2 years when they come out of Canadian juniors

I think we have something brewing here that could be as lethal as they are. I will say where we cant measure up is the speed at which they play. However, the talent is definitely there. With the proper lineup adjustments (and sacrifices, lets not kid ourselves) we can be the team to beat in the East. Especially as guys like Ovi, Crosby/Malkin, Bergeron/Marchant are getting older. |

Take a look at all the European players drafted during his 6 years as the head European scout. How many are with the team right now? Other than Kakko, that was a lucky lottery no brainer pick, there is only Chytil who has played regularly. Anderson a huge failure at #7. Kravtsov looks like a solid pick but he came out of the KHL and I think that might have come under Bobrov’s purview but not sure....so good on that if so. Reunanen has had a cup of coffee. We are waiting on Lundqvist and possibly Pajuniemi. Karl Henriksson has not exactly lit up the Swedish Elite league with a goal and 6 assists in 44 games. Not a lot of success for Bobrov with only first round picks Chytil and Kravtsov having some success with Anderson a total bust at #7. One possible elite 1st rounder in Lundqvist. I guess Drury saw that outside of the first round Bobrov had not produced nearly enough prospects. (Apologies to Pajuniemi who might have a shot at the NHL)

How many games for Reaves? Or just $5k? - Rangers99
Reaves should get as many games as Graves gets for the high hit he laid on Janmark earlier in the game. This entire incident was the fault of the refs. They didn't properly penalize Graves early, so Reaves issued his own justice. |

Graves but wasn’t high. You want to argue a touch late? But not high. 2 minutes was the correct call. What Reaves did isn’t part of the game, u don’t kneel on a guys neck and jump him from behind. |

Textbook 5 min major for BOARDING. It was high and late too --- but BOARDING is the penalty. It was a blindside hit, principal point of contact is his chin. He didn't even possess the puck which is why they called interference. But the CORRECT call was BOARDING.
If you can't see that, then I can't help you... |

No one says Babcock was the only thing wrong with the team. He was just a sociopath |

In fairness the top 2 seeds in the East (PIT/WSH) lost too. I agree the North is weak but I don’t know how 2 North teams beating two other North teams proves that |
