Used to be. Went to games at the Forum. Wore my Habs jersey into enemy (Nordiques) land. Luckily, got the cure

That's the saddest story I've ever heard.

His stats, the fact the new starter makes 1.6 and he'd be a massive distraction. Do you think this guy would be happy with getting a crappy offer to be backup on the Leafs? What do you pay him?
- RogerRoeper

Dude, it's not about what I think.

It's about what you think you know.

Guy might win the Vezina.
- Scabeh

He'll probably get some votes - but I think he's pretty far down the list of real candidates (Varlamov, Fleury, Vasilevskiy and Saros probably deserve more consideration).

I look at Colorado and that team turned Jonas Johansson into a reasonably good goalie. With the Avs he was 5-1-1, .913, 2.06GAA. With Buffalo he was 0-5-1, .884, 3.79GAA.

That said, I've probably always undervalued him - I consider him one of the best backups, but this year he definitely emerged as a good starter for a great team.

Colorado is a beast for sure.

I think why he gets voted out is the games missed because of Covid.

I feel like Fleury will get the edge because of the story behind his season but Vasilevsky would be my pick.

He already said 1000%. Are prepared to go to 2000? If not, sit down. He wins.

Heck, someone under 2m no?
- Fakepartofme

Realistically, yeah. If you can save $3m+ on Andersen leaving, that will help with resigning Hyman and maybe having something in pocket to improve somewhere else.

Respectfully disagree - winsix checks career stats and puffs out his chest.
- winsix

I understand, I like Hyman too.

If we were building a lineup for tonight and I had the choice, I’d take Anderson over a couple of the Leafs top 6. I think he’s a bit underrated due to playing for Torts.

I’m also pretty happy with our team so, whatever.

I'm actually hoping we get two tired teams, which will lead to sloppy play and turnovers.

Because last night was a snore-fest.

- Atomic Wedgie

Exactly, I didn’t load up on Leafs in the pool to watch them win 2-1 games. I thought we were a power house.

They haven't been outgoalied.

Campbell is doing as good as you can expect him to.

It's not his fault Price faces way more high danger chances and has to make ridiculous saves and he doesn't. Can't blame him for having it "easier".

- Scabeh

What did you think of Rielly’s goal last night? I thought Price misplayed that bad but maybe that’s just me.

I feel like he expected a pass so yeah his positioning wasn't perfect.

And Rielly's shot was so... that's a goal.

I'd probably pick Vasilevskiy as well, but Fleury is a good sentimental choice.

It’s a goal, but in Leaf land you hang your goalie from the nearest tree.

yeah, that's all it takes, one bad goal and we are ready to hang our Vezina trophy winner, still considered the best goalie in the world by many.

Price maybe went down early, but it was a perfect shot by Rielly.... Just under the cross bar.

ill wait for the Leafs-Habs series to end before I fully jump in on the loilers garbage fire, but man is it fun to watch another team get hot take'd into oblivion

In Price's defence, nobody expected Rielly to actually hit the net.

All of us included.

It was middle of the net though, anyways, happens to the best sometimes or even the mediocre as some fans seem to be calling him lately.
