i imagine yes. It's not like the HAbs are going to sit Price. They'll both be on one nights rest.

(And price is older)

although, a rested goalie vs a tired one is tempting.

I'd also worry that the pressure of the game might be a little much for Freddy. Can't imagine his confidence is high right now.

Lol at the soft Matthews narrative
- burn

So dumb. He was never soft, and he's one guy, with those magic hands, that we don't want fighting anyone. Not after that wrist scare.

So Campbell again tonight?

Jets and oil both went b2b with their starters and habs confirm price (obviously) tonight. No reason not keep going with jack.

Back to back in the playoffs... I hope Bettman gets an earful at the GM's meeting. Imagine if EDM/WPG had to play again tonight?

True dat.

Have to go with Campbell.

Amazing the LEafs may have finally found their star starter in him.

It's not common, but there are back to backs every year.

edit - maybe not every year, but they do happen.

I saw some comments from Habs fans. HAlf of them are calling him soft, yapping that he won't fight back. The other half are complaining that the Habs are getting the extra penalty in scrums like that.

What do they expect? They're targeting Matthews, trying to rough him up (like Weber facewash last night), he's laughing in their face and happily taking the PP. He's absolutely owning them right now.

- prock

Wouldn't mind Leafs giving Weber an extra rough ride tonight. Would settle for a nice slatshot in the balls like Wheeler got.

Campbell tonight, right? Unless he's tired or sore ...gotta go with the Soup.
- The Law

He only worked hard in the third period.

He should be good to go.

Then he's tracking back on D and hitting guys and stripping pucks.

Still think it's dumb. How could a back-to-back possibly impact a playoff schedule in any meaningful way?

I think it's less of a big deal than in the regular season. BEcause both teams are on the exact same schedule.

But yeah, it's not conducive to a good, exciting game.

They generally only do it when they're are scheduling problems. Like a concert or basketball game in the same arena, so they have to jam games in. I don't think they do it very often for TV schedules.

The CDN division is behind, so I think they're pressured to get games in. There were teams eliminated by the time the Leafs played game 3. If they don't finish these series, when they get to the SC semi, the canadian team will end up rolling in a days rest.

Regular season, sure. Lots of moving parts.

But now, while like most of the country is still in a lockdown and there is absolutely nothing happening at these rinks? It better not because we started late for the meaningless Canucks games.

More and more scientists are getting behind a SARS-CoV-2 lab spill in Wuhan.
(a lab funded by the US NIH by the way). https://science.sciencema...nt/372/6543/694.1/tab-pdf

It will get very interesting to see who the US of A will blame in addition to 'the Chinese' when it will be broadly accepted (after a true investigation) this was indeed a lab spill (whether or not the virus was constructed in the lab is secondary).
This guy might be a scapegoat: Peter Daszak

Who was that guy who always complained about other people starting non-hockey conversations?

For the life of me I can't remember. You're lucky he isn't here now though.

I agree. I thought Andersen if they were up 3-0 but Campbell was as good as I’ve seen him all year.

This series should be 3-0. Habs can't score. That's a bad roster

that entire organization is dysfunctional.

They'll need 3 or 4 more number 1 picks to grab a good dman and some forward help for McD if they ever want to be a contender.

- prock

It's unbelievable they don't have more given they had the best lottery luck in history. Chia made so many bad moves.

And his cap hit is 1.6 next year. This is an amazing coup. He was picked-up to be a great backup. Really helps Leafs cap.
