Is there anyone denying that?

Leafs are hoping to win the cup.

Habs are hoping Price will somehow stop every shot and carry them as far as possible.

Expectations aren't the same.

Just trying to make you cry. Is Gallagher still hurt? They were speculating on the tv machine. Hyman looked to more of a factor last night.

Aside from game 2 where the Leafs dominated, the other 2 games could have gone either way.

Habs really need some sort of luck to go their way, scoring 4 goals in 3 games simply isn't enough.

Price must be so god damn tired of this. It's always the same story.

- Scabeh

Oh it could be like that but it isn't. Leafs need to come out and put their foot on the throat of the Habs. Don't give them life.

I was hoping the Oilers would get at least a couple wins and make it more difficult on Winnipeg. To be fair to them, losing 3 games in overtime is tough let alone a triple overtime game.

Game three was horrid but last night they could have won.

If not for a lucky goal it could be 2-1 Habs, I wouldn’t get too cocky yet. We’ve seen what happens when we’re already hoisting the cup 2 wins into the playoffs.

Leafs dominated last night. Habs can't score or get the puck.

He did look good.

I mostly just want him out of the lineup so that the announcers can stop having orgasms every time he touches the ice.

I have no info on Gallagher, except that he looks like a shell of himself.

Updated list of Leafs players who annoy me (which generally mean they're doing a good job) !!

Nylander
Matthews
Muzzin
Kerfoot
Hyman
Holl

I thought about adding Sandin but his contact to the head of Lehkonen looked accidental to me so I don't hate him just yet.

The Oilers are so dependent on 4-5 players, they tend to overplay them badly.

the commentators were annoying yesterday.
in particular on two instances.

1. 'Sandin given confidence by his coach - rarely happens to a 21 year old'. I guess they had never heard about Provorov, McAvoy, Makar, Heiskanen, Hughes, Chabot, Dahlin, Sergachev, Seth Jones etc. etc. -- all players that were given good NHL minutes when still very young..

2. Chiarot punches Hyman in the face, and then proceeds to sit on him and giving him several punches more. Commentators 'Can't really see what Chiarot did there, nothing much .... strange he got a penalty for that' ...

We got out shot, out attempted and they had more high danger chances.

But ok.

We scored 1 on a bounce off a leg, but carry on.

I think we deserved the win but far from domination.

The 1st period was both teams trying not to make a single mistake. It was one of the most boring periods of playoff hockey I've ever seen.

2nd period was domination by the Leafs.

3rd period was all Habs - as the Leafs decided the best strategy was to completely abandon what had been working so well in the 2nd period.

Having said that, I was never really worried last night. The victory felt inevitable.

You need some sort of luck,

You mean like our Captain, 2nd line center, 3rd leading point getter being knocked out for the series early in game 1?

Yeah, no luck for you guys.

Yeah. I saw something that said bear and someone else didn’t play the last 10mins of 3rd or something like that and didn’t get into ot for a long time. He was on the ice for the game winner.

Its crazy that mcdavid has been in the league one year more than Matthews and marner but they haven’t been able to put an ounce of depth around him to help.

Not what I am reading from most of your fanbase. The Leafs are only up because of their dirty play, refs against the Habs, and bad luck.

It is like most of your fanbase is utterly clueless. I saw someone complaining about the Sandin hit on Lehkonen last night

Because he didn’t have energy to make it to the bench.
