That's not luck.

That's an unfortunate accident.

- Scabeh

Sure, but it counts as luck for you guys.

If Price went down at the start of the series, you can bet the Habs fans would be saying the Leafs won because of luck.

Updated list of Leafs players who annoy me (which generally mean they're doing a good job) !!

Nylander
Matthews
Muzzin
Kerfoot
Hyman
Holl

I thought about adding Sandin but his contact to the head of Lehkonen looked accidental to me so I don't hate him just yet.

- Scabeh

Yeah there was that other little detail that Lehkonen initiated the contact.

Good lord.

Because he didn’t have energy to make it to the bench.

Not sure why we aren't talking about this high stick this morning:

Is it now OK to deliberately knock a guy in the face with your stick?

Not what I am reading from most of your fanbase. The Leafs are only up because of their dirty play, refs against the Habs, and bad luck.

It is like most of your fanbase is utterly clueless. I saw someone complaining about the Sandin hit on Lehkonen last night

- Aetherial

Meh, there are always going to be people completely biased in the playoffs.

Leafs were/are heavy favorites, they're ahead 2 games to 1 and they deserve to be ahead right now.

Saying the Sandin his on Lehkonen wasn't accidental is crazy. He's not even looking at him.

Then again, some said the Tavares accident was intentional so... yeah people can get nuts.

Id put the best Leaf players so far as Nylander and Campbell
hon mention to Kerfoot, who has been really good. needed to step up with JT out.

- senstroll

Matthews is leading the playoffs in takeaways, and doesn't have any giveaways yet. He's third among Leaf forwards in hits. I've loved how well rounded his game has been. I'm not taking away from Nylander and Campbell at all - but I would be mentioning AM34 in any Leaf conversation. He's agitating, he's controlling the play, he's defensively sound, he's hitting . . . going into the playoffs I didn't think he had ANY of that in his game at a consistent level, and I've been very impressed.

I could see him ending in Edmonton.

Calgary has Markstrom.

Talbot might be playing himself into another chance next year.

Well, we know it is OK to complain about it if the refs call it.

Habs fanbase are a bunch of delirious losers who can only see the good stuff about their team and the bad stuff about the other team.

Just like the other 30 fanbases.

I like the one where Habs bench called for a penalty after Weber high sticked suzuki in the face.

I mean, sure I guess we'll take the powerplay, but seems odd for them to want to get on the PK that bad.

Edmonton needs a goalie. Calgary just blew their money on Markstrom, so they better hope he pays off. Minnesota could turn a piece of toast into a .920 goalie, so they probably don't need to goalie hunt.

The real question is what Andersen thinks he's worth vs. what the market is willing to pay for his performance the last 2 years. I suspect he's not going to be pleased with the market's assessment of his game.

We got out shot, out attempted and they had more high danger chances.

But ok.

We scored 1 on a bounce off a leg, but carry on.

I think we deserved the win but far from domination.

- Garnie

Facts dont matter to him.
ITS LEAFS AND DUBAS WORLD WIDE DOMINATION!!

Amazing that he was able to pull it off i guess (didn’t see the shift so I don’t know how it went lol)

But also amazing that the oilers are so lacking of depth they HAD to do that

We'll never know, but I see nothing that suggests it. In fact, it looks the opposite to me, he *tried" to not hit him but literally had no time.

I think I find it annoying that the Habs CLEARLY came into the series wanting to goon it up as far as possible and hope to drag the game into the mud and eke out a win on goaltending and a lucky break here and there.

Hey, if your team is poopty, I guess that's your only option... just don't whine and cry about it when the bullpoop is called. (not you specifically, obviously)

Both players going for the puck colliding, Lehkonen got the worst of it.

But.

Some GM's are gonna GM.
I could see a desperate GM overpaying.
