No, much like your rebuild plan, TO insulated their youth and didn't reach too far out of their lane until the time was better. JB has been all over the map, hasn't he? Or, do you really see a consistent, well thought out plan with his 7 year tenure?

Also, TO made that mistake and then rectified it. JB signed LE, Beagle, Rous, etc. and has let them sit on the books and impede the Canucks' ability to compete when they could be. At least TO got out from under it and made it worthwhile, even if it was a high price to pay.
