I wouldn't have a problem with William Eklund. It's pretty much Hoglander with more speed.
- manvanfan

Im pulling for a dman, for sure. Eklund looks good. Of the tape ive watched i like the d available at 10 though

Excellent choice and I say if Hughes is not available go with Clarke.

We need a bit of everything, so i don't think ill be dissappointed. But i always wamt more focus on d, been a team neglect since long before benning. He's probably been our best at drafting d at this point, but there's not a lot of competition.

Brandt Clarke may be available when VAN picks.
- VanHockeyGuy

I really hope either Clarke or Guenther or Mctavish fall to us. I do really hope for Guenther.

Podk - EP - Boeser
Hogger - Bo - Guenther
Pearson - Miller - X

roll 3 lines getting 15-20 mins each a night and using the 4th line sparingly.

Does that include defensemen who aren't good at playing defence?

I did? Whatever lol

I don't like crybabies on a Hockey club. If Miller and Bo are turning into that it's a problem IMO.

For me, Beniers, Clarke, Johnson, McTavish. You'd think one of those would be available.

you dont need math to know that you have higher odds of getting more NHL players with more picks..

the underlined part has more to do with good vs bad drafting than it does more vs less picks.

and for the last part, you can have both.

Don’t need math to know probabilities matter more than odds.

Mark Stone probably didn’t care about odds either. Nor do I.

That’s awesome. It was 91/92 when I became a fan. First time I saw Bure I was like “what the fuck am I watching?”

I was a Mike Bossy fan and remember the Canucks from the Islanders’ 82 run. Wasn’t impressed. Then after that it was the Gretzky show until I saw Bure. Nobody played like he did. Then that elbow in 94ish (I think) sealed the deal. I was in love.

Regretted it ever since.

its not really a synonym, but it really doesnt matter either.

The more picks you have, the more likely (probable) you are to get an NHL player. The less you have, the less likely. The odds of a player playing are relative to the players development, junior path, etc etc etc, rather than where he was selected, as seen with so many NHL players picked outside the first round that actually play more than 100 games in the NHL.

either way, at the end of the day, both high picks (quality) and number of picks (quantity) matter.
