The odds of winning the stanley cup for x team are 1/6, which is quite literally a probability. I know what distinction is but im guessing if i google odds the words probability and likelyhood will be there. Anywho, i agree more picks equals higher probability... or better odds

but we arent discussing the winning odds for the stanley cup, we are talking about draft picks and their probability of playing in the NHL by draft position.
