WAR? Really? This isn’t baseball - Nucker101
It is just another tool in the arsenal that in context can show a players worth.

There isn't a WCF, it is a semi final based on regular season points, iirc.
Also, Go Bruins. Be nice to see one of the greatest of his generation, Bergeron, get another cup. - Reubenkincade

Out of all the lists there, it honestly looks really 50/50 to me on who should and shouldn't be on the lists.
I don't know how they actually calculate it. |

Canucks defence in a nut shell.
Myers makes most of the you suck lists. - manvanfan
That is funny. The Canucks have 3 of the worst defensemen in the league in Hughes, Schmidt and Myers.
What is also funny is according to those stats, Chris Tanev and Adam Larsson are the 2 best defensemen in the league.
The Canucks get rid of the best defenseman(Tanev), in the league for a guy who costs 1.5 million more and a 3rd round pick. Amazing.
Yet the slurpers will quickly be here to defend the shiny guy. |

As I said I don't know how it is actually calculated but if it's comparing Tanev vs the other RHD on that team. It's not even close as to why Tanev is #1 compared to Andersson and Michael Stone. |

Easy now, we aren't as smart as NHL GM's and aren't allowed to criticize them. |

I want all divisional rivals to fail - Nucker101
Seems petty and small minded. Plus the three remaining teams in our division won’t be next year.
I hope the Leafs win the cup so they can finally say they’ve been through four rounds. |

FFS I was looking at possible waiver wire pick ups to start next season. I was planning on telling Jim to target Yakov Trenin from Nashville.
Guy just opened the scoring for Nashville today. |

I realized my mistake in assuming and took it back after. - Nucker101
you realized your mistake and took it back after? when was this? because earlier today, you posted this:
I later backed off of that statement by adding that if it was true then yeah he’s a coward quitter that I’d move on from. So far I haven’t seen a report that refutes him skipping out on exit meetings, have you? - Nucker101
so if you "took it back," that means you must have "seen a report that refutes him skipping out on exit meetings," after posting that earlier today.
can you provide a source as to why you changed your mind? thanks in advance. |

6g in his last 7 playoff games. Oh well, doesn’t matter if you’re just here to cheer no matter what. |

I always get a kick out this real fan crap, that some like to spew.
I have been a Canuck fan since they entered the league.my other team is Boston, because #4, who got me interested in hockey when I was very young.
These "real fan" types love the shiny ones, so if you criticize Hughes or Pouty or Schmidt or Hoglander you are not a real fan, they go about criticizing players that I like and I usually just put up a few comments why I like a player like Myers, or whoever.
What I find real funny is when a fan is on their 2nd or 3rd favourite team and says you are not a real fan. Lol - Reubenkincade
My breakdown of a real fan...
upfront with constructive criticism
Hysteria has no place
If complaining pose a solution also
Using history is unnecessary
Able to change or modify a stance
Lastly it’s not mandatory for opinions unchanged over time.
Probably more but that’s the gist. |

If the GM who is doing the drafting sucks, it wouldn't really matter if he drafted Nylander because Nylander would be golfing right now if he were on the Canucks. |
