It's a good time to give Andersen a start.
It'll rest Campbell for the next series whether they win or lose and get Andersen ready in case of injury to Campbell down the road. - TroyTech

I don't think it's fair to look at Freddy's numbers this year - the guy was clearly playing hurt, and stayed in between the pipes because we had no alternative.
Having said that, Campbell is the better goalie right now.
In professional sports, that's all that matters. - Atomic Wedgie

This is a good / fair take, it's unfortunate that he had to (or felt he had to) play hurt and but it is what it is and this was one weird season.
Campbell is the better goalie right now and should be starting but I'm not going to go so far as to say regardless of what happens there is no point in time he wouldn't need to take a rest - like saying he gave up 6 goals on 7 shots for instance.
I just hope it never is a conversation we don't even need to have and he keeps rolling the way he is right now.
He's playing well, looking quiet, confident, calm and cool as a cucumber in the net and that bodes well for the Leafs. |

People should stop thinking that the team doctors would let players play hurt if it was anyway at all going to effect the player or the game outcome, Freddy is just playing poorly, or are we saying he was hurt the last couple of years also. |

Just looked at his stats for last years playoffs.
GAA= 1.84 SV% = .936
Seems pretty good to me. On many teams that would get to 2nd round for sure.

Only in here would we go on a Freddie tear when we’re up 3-1 in a playoff series. Leaf fans are (frank)ed |

Well last year they didn't make the playoffs, look up the season stats to see why. |

He should have been fired with Cherry, nodding his head in total agreement with the "you people" comment. |

Last year in the play-in round, Andersen had some good numbers, the issue was that he let in some soft, back-breaking goals and CBJ goalies were better..
Andersen was the 3rd best goalie in that play-in round |

I believe their explanation was that the play in was part of the "post season", and that's why the stats were not included in the regular season stats.
But it was not considered "playoffs".

Just saying, if he played anywhere near the first three years he was here there wouldn't have been a play in round for the Leafs.
And last year he had a better team in front of him than the previous three years. |

He supposed to score the goals too? He put up great numbers - not his fault the other goalie stood on his head a little better, and his own team could not score.
In any event - this is about previous year. Campbell is obviously better this year.

please re-watch the Liam Foudy goal to make it 2-0 CBJ in the 5th and deciding game, then come back to me. |

Tarps off is a slang phrase that talks about drunk hockey players with their shirts off. It has nothing to do with homophobia. It's much ado about nothing.
More idiotic mobs marching down to the town square, their torches doused in kerosene, so eager to burn anything they can. |
