Pretty sure back then I couldn’t even kick the 480 over to start it. My dad loved it and kicked himself for ever selling it, replaced it with a newer CR 500 but he didn’t like it as much.

My brother was a great rider ( dad bought him a dirt bike the day after he rode his pedal bike with no training wheels ) he started at 5. It wasn’t in my blood, I played hockey and bro biked ( 1/2 bro and step dad maybe that’s why 🤣 )

Raced it, he was fine. Good rider, they had to hold the bike up until the race started he couldn’t reach the ground.

A few guys in my old 'gang' had Kawa 350/500/750's before they was worth godzillions. Just f'n crazy bikes. One of the guys died on one...
