I don't have Lidstrom as the best defenseman ever. Bobby Orr deserves that honour. But saying Lidstrom is overrated is (frank)ing foolish.

I didn't do Ek's contest, but I had the Bruins in 7. I find that Trotz gets the best out of his team - for coaches that seem to really apply and get an effective style of play, I like Trotz, Quenneville and Brind'Amour - but while I like Trotz, when I watch Boston they just know where each other is - against Washington I noticed that most solid opportunities against Boston happened as the result of something unfortunate (guy falling, stick breaking), but typically they know where each other are, and support each other really well. That doesn't describe Pittsburgh at all, and the Islanders beat Pittsburgh 3 times because of Tristan Jarry.

The most likely scenario is that we play Tampa. Weirdly, I’m not sure we match up that badly against them. They’re incredibly talented but they wouldn’t smother us. It would be an interesting series.
