Have they watched the Sabres team play defense? It’s not exactly a strong position group on this team. Yeah we drafted plenty of them in 2/3 years ago, not all will hit, but last year forward forward. BPA, whether that’s power, Eklund, Beniers doesn’t matter to me.

Skinner is THE problem, due to contract amount and term..of course lack of production.

Okposo is a problem for 1 more season. Stick it out.
Send him to the minors, maybe he retires.

If you're in a total rebuild, you don't need to throw first round picks anywhere to get Skinner out of here, as he's not hampering your ability w regard to the salary cap. We're going to have a ton of ELC's coming through in the next 5 years, which brings you almost to the end of his deal.
