At the start of the year Ek said Sorokin would win the Calder and Vezina this year. He failed, but now he's aiming for the Conn Smythe.

Ek also said Vegas, Washington and Pittsburgh would all miss the playoffs. And Gaudreau would win the scoring title.

DeSmith was hurt. Legace really couldn't be worse though. Jarry was the Islanders MVP. Boston will mutilate them. Just like 2019 when they got humiliated by CAR.

Sorokin is real good, did not expect him to put up KHL stats. Its too soon to say he is the best, but he should become one of the best in the league for years to come....Isles have had high expectations for him....it will be interesting to see how much $ he gets as an RFA.
