That, and the fact that the Isles have 5 more seasons after this one @$7MM per invested in the guy suggests that they're not going to rush him back and risk a more permanent injury.

All depends on the severity really but I sincerely doubt we’ll see him before the start of next season. I can’t help but imagine if we did though

I suppose it's possible his injury wasn't as bad as others and he recovers quicker. But as you suggest, why risk rushing and potentially reinjuring.

Also, lest we forget, #47 is holding down the top line LW just fine, thank you very much.

There really isn't unfortunately.. He had a full ACL repair.. It's a 6 month rehab usually.. push it maybe 5 months. He will not be back this year. Trotz just said that on his Media day... "You will not see Anders Lee in the playoffs this year"

I was trying to think what I would do now... can't imagine back then..lol. I think my 15 year old would tell them to go F off.. absurd.

I remember they started this in Tampa a while back when they played the Rangers and us. Cause quite an uproar and they kept doing it because of all the snow birds going down there. Pretty stupid stuff.
