Leafs were lucky to make it to OT in that game if you ask me.
- Scabeh

They were? They dominated the third. 🤣 Habs are lucky they even saw OT.

At least we battled back and got a point out of it... oh wait.

So did Marner. And Matthews. Should we put in Nash and Sabourin next game?
- UsernameUnknown

Andersen is a better goalie than Campbell.
Nash and Sabourin aren't better than Marner and Matthews.
So not a good comparison.

I dunno if you can even classify that as OT. A slight continuation of the third period, really.

Only one of us has history on their side.

Sooner or later, maybe history will change, maybe even next game, but when I see the big stars fading in the playoffs, yet again, year after year after year.

Have all of you guys forgotten that?

- Aetherial

Lol.

The Leafs lose a game in OT and you go full chicken (frank)ing little.

Fair to be nervous...

(frank)ing stupid to say it's over and Montreal wins the series.

The fact that they were down 3-0 and didn't fold.
- UsernameUnknown

Yeah they pretty much mailed it in today. Wasn't a great effort all things considered. Given past history you can't blame people for being pessimistic but they've got 2 more chances to end the Habs (who aren't are very good team).

Yes and No.

Montreal is not a good team, at all.

This is exactly what I said about the series. Montreal won't win it, but the Leafs may give it to them.

My boy Galchenyuk.

Habs played well, got on the Leafs early and made them pay. Hopefully the Leafs can wake up early next game and make it interesting!

They are done Fake.

They are way too mentally fragile. The next two games will not be close.

- Aetherial

We'll see Saturday
Gotta win.

Lol

That was a combination of a stupid pinch on BOGO and a horrible giveaway.

Were all the Habs goals on Leaf giveaways tonight?

- Hockey_Reverend

Hmmm I believe the 2nd Armia goal wasn't.

Maybe. This is a common theme for them though. Play one period and find ways to win, or at least take a point. That concept shouldn't be relied upon in the playoffs. And it's annoying. But shows me toronto is still the better team and have 2 more games to prove it.

We did? I know we scored, but dominated? This was the worst game the LEafs have played in a few weeks. Can’t remember a worse one this season...?

Again, I get that you disagree, but have you forgotten the epic failures of this team over the years?

After watching that mess tonight, what makes you think they have the mental strength to close the series.

Except all year Campbell has been a better goalie than Andersen. So it's a perfect comparison

Yeah if they don't have a game 7 mentality, something is wrong.

Yeah it was pretty brutal, gotta give the Habs credit for creating stuff though. Leafs knew the Habs would be playing for their lives but didn't adjust accordingly. Hopefully this is something they can learn from for next game but we'll see.

Habs get a home crowd to pump their tires.

This is going 7 and I don't like our chances if AM34 stays quiet.

The crowd will pump both teams. Don’t think the Leafs won’t feed off it as well.

Of course not. And I am nervous as sh!t due to it.

But being nervous isn't the same as going full anti-Roger and declaring that the next two games won't be close and the leafs will without a doubt lose the series.

Well, all I can say is we are getting sucked in again. Suckers!

Until they win a playoff round, nothing else matters...

Night! Hopefully big win on Saturday..
