The convo is so utterly refreshing & scintillating in here it drives a man to drink.
Guiness time cheers all 🍺

I really like how Bieksa compliments Cole for playing 2 on 1s properly, or at least the way Load Management and I have always thought they were supposed to be played. |

If I mention how I have enjoyed watching the big boys on both Vegas and Minnesota, will I be reminded how Spurgeon, Marchessault etc aren't big guys? - Reubenkincade
Who'd a thunk that the Canucks beat one these teams and took the other team to a game 7 pickem 😅
The Canucks are so far away..🙄 |

As fun as it was watching the Canucks in that thingy, my biggest concern became a reality. The players and Management, and ownership and many fans actually thought the team was good. |

These two teams would have bent the canucks over if they had played them this season. They both improved, the canucks regressed. What is the point in referencing the bubble last year anyway, that was last year. The canucks need to build off of the season they just had, not the bubble playofs of season prior. |

Canucks need to give Schmidt an a and let him be the d_ leader, 🤪, him and horvat as the 2 faces that deal with media , shelter Petey and Hughes, 2 penalties all season, for Schmidt, best D by a mile , we need him to be the Face of the d , give Hughes all the fluff / promotional takes
I love me some Eagle , but he can't be here and pull this off. |

Really ? You also madame cleo ? No guarantees year to year.
We had a down year , and the team felt that.
The negative press this year, put a scare into this young team , no fun being a Canuck when you lose |

So we cling on the success of last playoffs, but dismiss the failure of the season that just happened?
Literally no point in referencing the bubble playoffs anymore. The team is different, the divisions are different, the opposing teams are different. |

Bieksa - Nucker101
He made a couple good comments a couple days ago as well, he said I am not a coach yet, but I wouldn't have this type of set-up, when referring to how Minnesota lined up at faceoff circle in defensive zone. |

What would it cost Minny to get rid of Parise? i.e. what would you want from them to take on that contract? 4 more years at $7.5m cap hit but only $10m in actual dollars - sounds right up Frankies alley. If he retired no cap recapture for the Canucks. If he doesn’t retire but goes on LTIR it’s “extra cap space”. Is a first enough or would you want more? |

A buddy gave me a fresh Halibut filet last weekend. Beer battered some of it with Guinness. It also helped wash it down. Very tasty pairing. Along with the homemade tartar, fries and malt vinegar.

Petey be logical but Hughes would come cheaper if he did. Takes a decent shave to get a good D partner. Petey is more proven & well rounded. Would like Hughes on a bridge to better earn it. |

That's fair, he had it cushy with tanev. Struggled without him clearly but was looking good the last 20 games i thought, hamonic helped |

Pretty sure if he retired, Canucks would have some recapture to pay. |

My opinion only, Schmidt is as soft as baby stool. Trade him to Cgy for Connor Mackey, at least the guy will throw. |
