Then there’s the others that are just blind. So used to losing that it doesn’t matter any, ore. - K-man25
it is sad for Flames Fans that there are endless dark years ahead with no young core in sight. |

Did you hear the rest? What was your understanding that they're not coming to do just desk jobs? - NuckUp
I did. I find it's still a massive reach. The sedins have zero management experience, are going in blind, and to think or say they are being prepped to co-manage the franchise for when Benning is done (2 years) seems absurd. I don't think Benning would want to intentionally or even unintentionally put that sort of expectation or benchmark on them. |

Flames are still fairly young and do have 2 Canadian World Junior players coming. A USA gold medal winning goalie coming. They’re not without fault though, no top end defenceman on the horizon, maybe they’ll draft one this year.
They’ve got some good young players from the Ahl knocking on the door. They’re basicly in the same boat as the Canucks employing a desperate GM trying to save his job by instead of promoting, signing useless ufa’s for the bottom 6.
I can see why you’re so frustrated and find the need to lash out at everyone else on here. |

If only there was a place for you to discuss Flames business...
adios amigo.
If you want to take NFU with you, it'd be appreciated. |

My second part asked Don if 2 years was enough. You seemed to be saying the Sedins weren't coming in to take over. So now you agree how long will it take for them? Remember there's nothing faster than learning from mistakes. |

You’ll have to add a 1st round pick to get rid of him. You should know that. |

lol I'm not the frustrated one posting an endless orgy of hate. So you think Canucks are in same boat as Flames signing Canuck expendables. Then let me direct you to what JB was doing grabbing Sven and Granlund. It won't dull the pain it might even extend it. Start playing hello darkness my old friend on repeat. |

Well said, management is weak but not nearly as pathetic as a certain segment of the fanbase. Glad the Sedins are onboard as well as Clark.
Benning may be an idiot but he has loads of experience and can provide some guidance for the Sedins to learn the ropes. - CanuckDon
I also can’t believe this is the question that is getting play when there was so much more that was left unsaid. Benning doesn’t believe his team is good enough to compete in these playoffs, and he is feeling overwhelmed and needs help running the team.
As far as Clarke, “we’ll get something done” doesn’t sound like a fait accompli to me. We’ve heard this song before. |

He basically revealed they were going to take over after learning all aspects of the hockey ops and business.
Is 2 years of Sedin apprenticeship enough to take the team to the promised land? - NuckUp
I don’t think he indicated that at all. In fact, he mostly just rambled. |

The Canucks have a lot of problems but give me a break, the flames have arguably the darkest future in the league. You know it, I know
It and for your sake hopefully Treliving also is aware |

Any Leaf jerseys in the crowd?
Also, to answer your question. Just a Quebec thing. We’re not expecting fans back in the stands in BC until September. |

What’s the point? Not even you are elite enough to be among the 2500 in attendance. It would be like being the only couple in a 40 seat restaurant #noatmosphere |
