Some will probably disagree but I would go back with Sorokin again. |

I don't think either is a bad decision. I'm slightly leaning towards Sorokin. |

Pretty much feel the same way about it but probably leaning a little more then slightly to wanting Sorokin in net. With that said I wouldn’t be pissed to see varlamov until he gave me a reason to be. |

He is indeed. Does he root for a particular team? Or is he just the President of the Anti-Thugs Club? |

I'd stick with Sorokin. The Isles need to be more aware of Pasta and better at standing his line up on the neutral zone. They did well in the first period but faded as the game wore on. Sorikin once again kept them in this game. I'd give him the start and if they lose again you can reapproach |

And I'm leaning toward giving Varly one more shot, although I'd be fine if Barry starts Sorokin. If Varly regains his form and can steal a game in Boston, great! Then you have 2 solid options in goal going forward. If not, then Boston has merely "held serve" by winning twice at home, and you can still go back to Sorokin on the Island. |

Goaltending seems to be the least of the Isles issues. |

I just feel Sorokin had a strong game and we were badly outplayed for the most part. The team in front of him needs to respond more so then him imo. I guess you can say the team could respond and wakes up if varlamov got the next start. Not really one of those clear cut decisions to me. |

As ses mentioned, not sure goalie is the question. Team plays like that in front of anyone they lose. Can’t let Pasta score 3 goals in one game. They shut off Crosby, they can shut off pasta. Gave him way too much time and space. He’ll keep scoring no matter who’s in net if they keep it up. Hopefully they have a response tomorrow night. |

Isles have to do something about their 1st line and they need much better overall defense. Greene is a concern but not much they can do at this point. |

I agree. Sorokin was good and the team in front of him didn't have the jump they needed to compete against the Bruins. I'm just looking to shake things up a little, because if the skaters don't skate harder, it won't matter who's in goal.
And no, I don't think benching Komarov is a better alternative to shake things up, considering he was the only Isles skater in last night's game with a positive +/-. |

Varly is solid and a known factor. Sorokin has a greater chance of stealing a game. Barry is facing a tough decision and either choice will be correct. |

Yes and no. Either goalie is capable and has earned the start. However, they may be needed to "steal" the win.

I wish the Isles had these options at forward and defense as well. |

Isles goalies have done their fair share of stealing wins. Time for other areas of the team to step up as well. |

The first line has been more or less neutralized since they started playing with Komarov. The Isles have handicapped their top line. I don't care about the number of hits he has. They have to get Barzal and Ebs going and it won't happen until Leo is off that line.
